After the seller relocated, we implemented a vacancy strategy. We landscaped, pressure washed, cleaned the windows, complete interior painting of the walls, ceilings and millwork, refinished all wood floors, installed all new carpeting, upgraded the lighting fixtures, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and implemented an unoccupied maintenance program. The estimated value of the home before the remodel was $1,700,000 and it sold for $2,565,000 after the remodel, netting the seller an additional $865,000.
